DebtNext revenue recovery management software

DebtNext, a TSI company, places your accounts with agencies and law firms, tracks what each one does and keeps the audit trail. When an examiner asks how you oversee them, you hand over one record.

As of November 2026, DebtNext, a TSI company, makes revenue recovery management software built on the dPlat platform. Banks, lenders, utilities and other creditors use it to place accounts with collection agencies and law firms, track what each partner does, recall and move accounts on their own rules, compare partners on one scorecard and keep the audit trail.

What managing a network by hand costs you

Every agency and law firm on your accounts is a vendor you answer for. When placements, recalls and complaints live in spreadsheets and inboxes, proving what happened takes weeks, and a partner that drifts out of line can keep receiving accounts.

Then there's comparison. If each agency reports in its own format, you can't tell which one nets you more on matched accounts, so placement decisions end up resting on habit.

What DebtNext does

Task What the software does
Placement Receives your placement files, validates them and assigns accounts to agencies and law firms by rules you set: segment, balance, age, stage, allocation share, placement length and recall conditions
Duplicate control Allows one active placement per account per stage, unless you configure otherwise
Recalls and moves Recalls, reassigns or rebalances accounts when your conditions are met, such as placement length, compliance status or performance
Partner scorecards Compares agencies on placements, recoveries, liquidation, compliance, exceptions and timeliness, by agency, portfolio, stage and period
Complaints and compliance events Logs each complaint, dispute or compliance event against the account, with its source, documents, actions and outcome. You can stop new placements to a partner with open issues
Audit trail Time-stamps user actions, placement decisions and configuration changes, with before-and-after values
Partner portal Gives agencies and law firms a web portal to report activity and payments, manage disputes, request media and message your team
Commissions Calculates partner commissions by agency, stage, recovery type and contract terms
Debt sales Runs sale events, from buyer invitations, due diligence and bids to buybacks and putbacks

How it fits your operation

  1. Your systems send placement files

Your billing or servicing system stays the record of the account. Files move to DebtNext by batch file transfer.

  2. DebtNext routes and watches

Accounts go to partners on your rules, and every placement, recall and partner action lands in the audit trail.

  3. Partners report back through the portal

Agencies and law firms report activity, payments and disputes in one place, in one format.

  4. You compare and adjust

Scorecards show each partner on the same measures, and you change allocation rules when the results tell you to.

DebtNext is software. Your agencies and law firms do the collecting, and DebtNext doesn't process payments. Single sign-on through a SAML 2.0 identity provider can be scoped as a separate project.

Vendor oversight rules in 2026

On Sept 11, 2026, the FDIC, the Federal Reserve Board, the NCUA and the OCC proposed new third-party risk management guidance, published Sept 15, with comments due Nov 16, 2026. The agencies plan to rescind the existing guidance and replace it once the new text is final. Whatever the final text says, you'll need a record of the judgment you used on each vendor.

Questions buyers ask

What is DebtNext?

DebtNext is recovery management software, built on the dPlat platform, that creditors use to place accounts with collection agencies and law firms, oversee each partner and compare them on one scorecard.

Does DebtNext replace our collection agencies or work with them?

It works with them. Your agencies and law firms keep collecting, and DebtNext routes their accounts, collects their reporting and keeps the record. It doesn't contact consumers or process payments.

What software do creditors use to manage multiple collection agencies?

Recovery management software, also called agency management or vendor management software for collections. It routes placements by rules, recalls accounts, collects partner activity in one format, logs complaints and keeps an audit trail. DebtNext is one option, and the agency oversight page shows how it's used.

How do banks document oversight of third-party collection agencies?

With a record for each partner: the placement rules it got, its audits, its complaints and how they closed, its performance against the others, and the decisions made because of them. The agencies' proposed guidance ties the depth of that oversight to each vendor's risk, so the record of your judgment matters.

Do we have to use TSI's collection agency?

You choose your agencies and law firms and set the placement rules yourself.

How is DebtNext priced?

In tiers, based on the number of active accounts, shared or dedicated hosting, billing-system and partner integrations, and the services in each tier.

See where your oversight has gaps

The Recovery Control Assessment maps your vendors and data, sizes your reconciliation burden, finds governance gaps and decision delays, and builds a business case.
