UAS, a TSI company
Thinking about moving your loans to a new servicer, boarding a new loan program or taking servicing off a stretched team? Spend 45 minutes with UAS and get a straight, written answer on what it would take.
UAS, a TSI company, runs the Servicing Continuity Review for schools, credit unions and lenders weighing a servicer change, a new loan program or outsourcing servicing for the first time. It's a 30 to 45 minute working session, followed within 5 business days by a written readout: a conversion or boarding outline, a map of who does each servicing duty, and what UAS can't take on.

Changing servicers is where the damage happens: a balance that doesn't convert, a deferment that gets lost, a credit file that reports a borrower late. That risk can keep a program with a servicer it has outgrown.
The Review puts the move on paper before anyone commits: what data it takes, who does what, and where it could go wrong.
The steps to move your existing loans, or to board only new loans first and leave the existing book where it is, with what UAS programs and what your team supplies.
Each duty your program carries (billing, due diligence, deferment and forbearance, credit reporting, tax forms, government reporting, delinquency and default) and who would own it.
The reports, reconciliations and online access your staff would have, so you can check them against what your auditors ask for.
Who on your side needs training, before and after the move.
Loan types, program rules or timelines that don't fit, said up front.
Your loan program types, an approximate borrower count, your current servicer or system, and your target timing. A sample data dictionary helps if you have one. Plan on 30 to 45 minutes with the person who owns servicing, plus anyone from finance or compliance you'd like in the room.
One 30 to 45 minute session, by video. The written readout arrives within 5 business days.
A UAS client services lead runs the session. A UAS conversion specialist writes the conversion outline in the readout.
The Review needs no borrower data, so please don't send any. Anything you share, such as a data dictionary, is used only for your readout and deleted on request. We can sign an NDA first if you'd like.
No. The Review is for finding out what a move would take before you decide to make one.
Yes. New loans can board with UAS first, and your existing book moves later or stays where it is. The readout covers both paths.
No. UAS Connect is the borrower portal your borrowers use to see and pay their loans. UAS does the servicing.
Schools can start with institutional and Perkins loan servicing, and credit unions with collections and servicing for credit unions.
Book a Servicing Continuity Review and get a conversion or boarding outline, a duty map and an honest list of what UAS can't take on, in writing within 5 business days.
