We are pleased to announce that on Monday March 2nd 2015, Joseph Laughlin will join the leadership team of Transworld Systems Inc. as its Chief Executive Officer.
Joe is an operating executive with experience in international banking, retail and commercial banking, financial technology, payment systems and private equity. Most recently he was a Senior Advisor to Flexpoint Ford LLC, a large private equity investment firm specializing in financial services and healthcare. His private equity experience includes serving as a Senior Operations Executive with Cerberus Capital Management LP and a Board Member of Jefferson Capital.
Joe’s financial services and banking experience includes senior executive positions with Bawag P.S.K. Bank of Vienna Austria, a portfolio company of Cerberus Capital Management, LP, and Wells Fargo & Company. Early in his career, Joe served as a Special Assistant in the Director’s Office for the Office of Thrift Supervision.
He was the founder and CEO of Global NetXchange LLC, a pioneer and leading business-to-business exchange providing technology solutions to the global retail industry. His prior retail experience includes SVP of Corporate Finance and Business Development for Sears Roebuck and Co where he was responsible for banking operations, corporate finance, treasury, business development and mergers and acquisitions.
Tim Galloway, the President of TSI will work closely with Joe and the team to implement the business strategy and grow the business. Joe is excited to join the team and looks forward to working with the TSI team, customers and other business partners to help the organization reach its full potential.
